i will continue to buy this product.
I like this better then the one's I get at my local plumbing supplier in that the barb fitting is a little longer and the npt is also longer (wont bottom out before running out of threads hoping it wont leak).

This fitting will leak even when taped and pipe doped. I've installed multiple and they all leak. It seems the threads are not cut to spec because the coupling I threaded it into does not leak on the opposite end. However it's the only fitting I found to go from 1-1/4 threaded to 1-1/4 pex. So I threaded a new one bare and soldered the threads. Problem solved.

Q: Will this work with well poly pipe ? I would like something more durable than poly pipe plastic fittings. Only need one to convert to threaded pipe.

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffPex and standard poly pipe have different inside diameters, this would not fit properly or be suitable for use with poly.
