Requires a neutral wire
Perhaps it's not fair for me to rate this, but I want to post a warning that it requires a neutral wire. I didn't have one in my outlet, and unfortunately my electrician pulled it out of the box and started working with this before he realized that it wasn't suitable. Then I got busy and passed the return date, though I'm not even sure they would have accepted it as a return anyway, and I would have had to pay for shipping, so maybe that's for the best. I'm gifting the timer to a family member so it's not a total loss. Before purchasing this, check that you have a neutral wire. I did find a rotary-style timer that did not require one.

I contacted the manufacturer, FanTech, and told it was what I needed. Wrong. It is made incorrectly to connect inline to the outdoor fan thru a wall with a grate on the inside. To work correctly the flapper door needs to open in reverse with a flange to slide the grate on. It might work on a longer run of tubing with the correct flange on the tubing

Good, but needs big box
This is actually a Leviton LTB60-1LZ, which includes white, ivory, and light-almond plastic button sets, but no plate. Good!
This was to upgrade the switch for the bathroom fan. The old switch was installed in a small metal old-work box, but there was no way the new device and wires could fit in the old box. I replaced the box with a 20 cu in plastic old-work box, and cut/taped the Remote wire. Everything fit easily.
This device has three 12-gage wires (Line, Load, Ground) and two 18-gage wires (Neutral, Remote). Looking at NEC section 314.16, those wires need about 7.5 cu in more than a simple timer or switch with two screws.

These work great in parallel
I installed 2 of these in different rooms. They drive the same fan and are on the same circuit. They led lights count down to tell you how much time is left which was a nice surprise

Two of these controllers can be used for the fan but must be run in parallel not series. Though the controllers are single pole they can be wired in a fashion that is similar to a 3 way switch. The installation instructions for the Fantech unit explain how to wire for this type of application.

Yes. The Switch is rated for 120V 20 Amps, the Supply for the PB 270-2 is 115 Volts. While it does not specify the Amps in the brochure, 20 Amps is the largest number of Amps for a 120Volt branch circuit, so the fan will not overload the switch. Make sure the circuit is not overloaded by adding the fan and check to see if it is required to be Ground Fault Interrupted (because it is over a tub or shower).

Q: does this switch work with the SHR1505R HRV?

Yes. THE shr1505 IS ONLY 1.4 Amps and the switch is rated for 20 Amps. My question is why do you want to limit the HRV to a 60 minute cycle? It will only provide pre-heated air back into the house when it is turned on. It should run when any vented appliance runs such as the range fan, dryer, or bathroom fans.
