The RTS5 is a low voltage remote timer switch that can be used with a compatible HRV / ERV to activate its highest ventilation rate for 20, 40 or 60 minute. It is designed to fit in a single-gang box and comes with screws to mount the RTS5 to it and a Decora plate.

Do not like
There is only 1 LED that lights up and there is no clear way for guests to know how to turn it on for 40 or 60 minutes. The backing feels flimsy too so you can bend the switch into the cavity if you push hard enough.
They make it look like 20, 40, and 60 all have their own lights BUT THEY DO NOT.

Misleading but it works…
Wish I had purchased the RTS4 or another device that actually lights up the selected time. You have to tap the button 1, 2, or 3 times, and it just lights up one light, at the top, regardless of the setting it ends up on. Was upgrading form RTS2 that my builder put in, so it's an upgrade, and reasonably priced, but it's misleading and a letdown.

Easy to install and simple boost timer for my Fantech ERV
We have had other timer devices for a previous ERV, then we dumped the old one and installed a Fantech. I used another controller for the main controller and these timers for kitchen and bath timers. Very simple to use, and a 2 wire hook up to the ERV. Simple and easy. took me about 5 minutes to install after the ERV was up and running (wiring was in place already).
