VHR Series Heat Recovery Ventilator w/ Fan Shutdown Defrost, 6" Top Ports

I needed to replacement my heat recovery and have purchases Fantech product in the past and have very good experiences with them, not disappointed in this one.

I selected this unit because it was low cost, looked easy to install, and the unit has good options for continuous running and wall switch controls. This air exchanger met all my expectations and it's also quiet and seems to be high quality. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a DIY air exchanger installation option.

Finally got one. two came damager. Packaging very poor. Third came with parts missing and one motor not turning. Had to use one for parts to get one to work. Seems noisy when working.

I recently ordered the heat recovery ventilator from your company. The product is working out fine.They promised it December 24th, I did not see the product til well into January. I called to find out the status and the said they never called me back to give me an idea of where it was . I also would have liked to have been sold the duct work for it as well, cause my guy had to leave and come back with some ( extra day) That was a bit disappointing but the product is now installed and work fine.

This HRV works very well and was simple to install. My experience both with Fantech and SupplyHouse.com has been terrific. I can't say enough about the customer service of both organizations. They really care about their customers.

The first unit I received was badly damaged. A big dent in one side and a seized fan. There was no damage at all to the shipping box which clearly came from the factory, so the damage definitely was not caused in shipping. You could not have caused this amount of damage to the unit in transit without seeing damage to the outside of the box. So this leads me to believe it must have left the factory like that. Someone there likely dropped the unit and did not want to get into trouble so they just stuck it in a box and sent it along. I say all this to warn others to be careful about inspecting their unit and checking it's functionality before installing. Quality control at the manufacturer is obviously suspect. That being said, Supply House shipped out a new unit and had the damaged unit picked up promptly, so I'm still a loyal customer with them. The replacement unit seems operate as expected. Too soon to comment on reliability.
