It's already broken.
Less than a month of use and it's already broken, lol. I'm a service technician and must use this at minimum ten times a day but if you don't, it might last longer for you.

Thermometer seems to je working as described
It's durable and solid. I don't know if the little hook works as intended it fell off a supply grill, bit it didn't break, so at least that.

The SPK2 is little slow, but not bad.
The thermometer takes longer to settle on the temperature than you would expect from a professional grade unit. The T1-T2 calc is nice if you have trouble with math. Should have spent the development money on faster readings. The display is easy to read and the controls are nicer than the SPK1. Overall, the SPK1 was a better unit.
