great product

this stuff works good. BUT, even though the manufacturer states that no bonding is required, You must bond this as per international gas code in every state. You still have to run a #6 bonding wire over to electrical panel or if there is a lighting bonding rod coming out of ground. Those who are installing this and not properly bonding it should not be installing it.. any csst as per gas code in every state has to be bonded, just because the manufacturer states that it does not require bonding doesn't mean nothing, gas codes are put inforce for a reason. This flashshield works great. But needs to be bonded.. I am old school and still use blk pipe with manual threaded ( ridgid threader) but i have used all the fkexable gas lines, this stuff is the best, but i can not stress to you enough , PLEASE bond it properly, lives are at risk if you dont..

CSST that is hard to work with.

This is the first time I have worked with an ArcShield type product and It is much harder than the normal CSST. Hard to get the outer jacket off. Maybe with the mfg tools it would be better and they are not that expensive. In my case, next time I would just run the required ground wire.

No very good

The brass fittings are weak and cheaply made, being one of the most expensive products you'd think you wouldn't have fittings warping anytime you crank down on them a little bit.

Product worked without any issues and was quick to install

It only needed a short run, and the product arrived coiled and boxed neatly. It was quick to install (as always with CSST). The factory cut ends were very clean and probably could have connected directly to the terminators, but I made my own just to be sure. Gastite makes a fantastic product line. There have been no problems with the system and no leaks (if you follow torque guidelines!). Don't forget to properly bond the system to the site's primary ground. SupplyHouse's stock selection is fantastic, and the shipping and returns process is easy. Having dealt with other online suppliers, I can attest that they are, in my opinion, the best online trade suppliers.

No, you would need to use yellow polyethylene tubing for underground use.

I think this is like other csst types of gas pipes . i normally dont use this for ug but have seen these types of gas piping in a conduit and sealed from the elements . so i think you can but poly ug or direct burial coated copper and a two stage gas delivery system is much cheaper for a UG application but every job you need to wieght the distance s etc.
