Non-hazardous and non-toxic.Waterproof; will not dissolve into stream, resists wash out
even in severe water flow or water wash situations. Safe for use with potable water.
Hercules unique formula petroleum based grease lubricates and prevents corrosion on valve stems, faucets, ballcock linkage, and other places where a water resistant grease is needed. Smoothes and eases hard turning faucets. Use on sump and sewage ejector pump linkage to prevent corrosion and sticking. Assures free movement and extended life. Will not melt like ordinary greases.

NOT FOR RUBBER OR PLASTIC!?
Got sick of running low on plumbers grease. Bought a few jars of this along with a few other types. Been using them for a while now w/o reading the directions because why would I need to read directions on "plumbers grease". I was pre-lubing some o-rings on a new radiant manifold and I read on the jar "not intended for use on o-rings, or other plastic or rubber parts". How can you call something "Plumber's Grease" and you can't use it on o-rings. You can use it on "stems, faucets, & ballcocks", just make sure none of those have any plastic or rubber parts in them.

Great product!
I use this product to repairing plumbing fixtures from faucets to reduced zone valves to Fire hydrants. The door seals on my car get a coat every fall to avoid freezing closed due to the Minnesota winters. I am a work leader for 10 maintenance technicians,, all REQUIRE me to purchase this lubricant for many varied repairs from door locks to rubber gromet installation to water proofing bolts on air handlers. Small jar fits nicely in my tool bag and still stands up to the abuse from my tools, getting knocked around, being moved from one work site to the next. Great all around water resistant lubricant!
