Description
–
The Honeywell Braukmann High-Capacity Thermostatic Radiator Actuator with remote sensor provides precise and automatic control of room temperature in two-pipe systems by modulating the flow of hot water or steam through free-standing radiators, convectors and other heating units with high capacity requirements. The valve seat disc is made of resilient EPDM to ensure a tight shutoff on steam or hot water systems. With a nickel-plated cast-bronze body with working parts in cartridge insert for easy service, this actuator needs no electrical connection.

Valves may also be used with MV110 Electric Zone Valve Actuator.

Problem with product.
Tha plastic case for the rather large sensor bulb has a lid that will not close when the bulb is in place. Poor engineering.

These have to be mounted onto the valves that they are intended for but as far as I know they can have any orientation. we have used them horizontally out the side of a baseboard radiator. They have been mounted with the head actually pointed to the floor under and in behind the the baseboard radiator cover. This is ok as long as you have clearance for the head to rotate and move up and down off of the valve that they are mounted to. everything is mounted internally, that activates the valve with the exception of the capillary tube and bulb which needs to be mounted so that it gives the best sensing of temperature, as that is what determines the actual temperature the room comes to and activates the valve for tempurature control
