According to the manufacturer, this thermostat does work with Taco switching relays. The only specific detail with respect to TH115 thermostats is that they require R-C-W. Usually R-W are the only thermostat wires, but you can bring C (common) from the 24V transformer.
Hi Linda, try this: http://www.aubetech.com/products/produitsDetails.php?noProduit=48&noLangue=2 down on page is manual in pdf format. with link: http://www.aubetech.com/manuel/2/TH115-A-F-AF-024T.pdf
Connect the C and the R terminals of the thermostat to 24 Volts AC of the taco box, polarity does not matter. Connect R and S of the thermostat to the floor thermister. Polarity does not matter. Connect the R also to one of the 24 volt terminals. It does not matter which one. Connect the W from the thermostat to one of the TT terminals. It is hard to know which one but if you connect to the wrong one it will not work. Just pick the other one. I chose the left side terminal, when looking at it right side up. Leave the right side empty. See photo if it helps. Good luck Gabe.
You will generally want to insulate beneath the slab and secure the PEX to wire mesh. Most hydronic systems, however, use low-voltage thermostats.
Yes, as long as the switching relay is 24 volts.
The model TH115-AF-024T thermostat can control any 24VAC low voltage relay up to 0.5A. You need absolutely three wires at the thermostat location.
Yes, the sensor is included.
