Good product
I was having issues with my radiant heat system overheating my slab. I retrofitted this thermostat by drilling and imbedding the floor sensor in the floor. Once I lowered the boilers aquastat, the thermostat did a good job maintaining an equal temp within the building.

Works fine but.....
Bought this to run the radiant floor heat in my new kitchen.
The stat works fine but I found the programming to be quite
cumbersome, not at all intuitive (I'm an electronic
tech). Set up for the day/times is in a different menu
then temperature settings. I have a number of White Rogers
stats installed in my business & home, they're so easy to program.

So far really good
I used three of these for use with my hydronic heating system. I have tubes stapled between the floor joists upstairs and in the concrete slab downstairs. I have taco 501 and a 503 zone switches. The stats work great. I used to have large temperature swings, and now I don't. Only been using them for two weeks or I would give them five stars.

I replaced all the Mercury stats in my house with these to control 3 hydronic baseboard zones and heated basement slab. Programming was easy. Backlight is perfect.

Q: TH115-A-024T vs TH115-AF-024T. Are these identical thermostats? Both use the same instruc sheet, both say A, F, AF mode. Looks like the only difference is that the AF model includes the remote sensor and cable. Is that right? A little confusing cuz mine came in a box only labeled A, but it includes the floor sensor. what do you reckon? same t'stat under both part numbers?

Q: My zone controller has a 24 volt output that I can use to power this thermostat, but what happens when the power goes off? Does the thermostat lose it's program? Is there a simple way to add a battery backup so that I do not need to re-program the thermostat every time the power goes off?

Q: I am attempting to hook up to a Honeywell RA832A; however, there is no common and only T T leads in the relay box. Where should I attach the common in this wiring configuration? Thanks

Note that it shows the floor temperature only when in F mode (floor sensor only). It does NOT show floor temperature when in combined mode (ambient & floor).

Q: It says 24v. Is that the line voltage or is that the voltage out to the heating elements? Will this work on standard house voltage (110-120v)?

Verified Reply- Supplyhouse Staff24Volt is low voltage, this is not line voltage, nor is it voltage out to the heating element. It is a low voltage control and should be taken from a 24VAC transformer. depending on equipment used, it maybe taken from the low voltage control wiring.

Q: I'd like to know how many stages or settings can be programmed. My thermostat at home has 4 time settings for each day and every day can have different settings.
