Depth adjustable
Ordered this as a replacement to the original for a Weil-McLain PFG-6 as part of an update and overhaul. As expected, the items showed up within a few days but the t-well was longer than described and outside of the specifications required for the electro-well. Careful inspection revealed that the copper well was a tight "slip" fit into the black insulation sleeve. Placed in vise and slowly compressed the well until its length matched the specifications and length of the original, it's a tight fit for sure. Installed the well in boiler and no leaks. The NPT brass portion actually compresses down on the sleeve and copper well to seal, so no worries of leaks.
