Better than aquastat
The 3200 Hydrostat replaced a failing OEM Honeywell Aquastat on a 1-zone Crown Aruba boiler.
Easy installation using the existing immersion well (upgrading the well to support low water cut-off would have required draining the system, which wasn't an option at the time considering low temperatures). The controller was one-to-one compatible with existing wiring including the damper plug, but knockout locations for connections changed. I could see having to move wires being a problem if the boiler was previously wired with too little slack.
Altering settings was pretty easy, and the manual made sense. One piece of information that's missing in the manual is the recommended thermostat anticipator setting (literature for some other similar products from Hydrolevel give 0.2A).
The display on the unit flickers, not sure if it's normal. An annoying feature is that when reviewing current values, the target temperature is the last thing to be displayed, when it seems like the first thing I'd want to know when checking on the control (in long term I suppose the novelty wears off and I'll just let the thing do its thing). I wish there was a way to get statistics, such as how much the boiler cycles.
First impression is that heat is more even. Too early to make any guesses on gas savings but that there will be some is a given.

works good when it works
Installed 2 of these within a few weeks on my home boiler.They both failled.Installed a much older model I had from an older furnace and has worked flawlessly.Not sure if they were defective or another issue but I don't feel comfortable installing this style again.

Great product
This is a great product and it was mostly a one-to-one replacement for the Honeywell Aquastat that I had. However a major caveat needs to be explicitly mentioned in that the B1 and B2 connections for the burner circuit are reversed in the honeywell. This is to say that the Honeywell has B1 as the common and B2 as the live; B1 is also the only spaded connector in both aquatstats.. but in the hydro level the B1 is the live. So getting this wrong will burn out the aqua stat and cause it to smoke out if you're not careful. Unfortunately the problem here is the advertising on the box of the Hydra level where the aquasat is advertised as a one to one replacement of the Honeywell. Confirmation of all the connections will be crucial when going from the Honeywell as it was in my case. Nonetheless I must say Supplyhouse were absolutely fantastic about accommodating my situation and helping me out. They are a terrific business.

Works great and easy (ish) to install
Installed this on a 20yo Weil-McLain PFG-6 boiler as part of an overhaul/update that was ignored for most of it life.. Very happy with this product and the overall ease of installation and setup. The instructions could however use a bit more detail to describe the function of the burner circuit interface with regards to the various ignition modules available. I sorted it all out eventually and have been monitoring this multiple times a day and it operates as advertised.

Exact fit for my old boiler
replaced a honeywell aquastat that intermittently wouldn't fire the boiler but ran the pump. The wiring and entry points were a little different but manageable. Love the fact that it runs my boiler at a lower temp than "high cutout" as determined by the demand the Hydrostat perceives from the heat demand from the home. We were set on 3 zones initially and during our coldest time it seemed to not be keeping up well enough. reset it to 2 zone and it runs about 5 degrees hotter and is keeping up just fine. Awesome product from Supply House. They have become my go-to for bathroom vents, Hydrostats, and who knows what I'll be working on tomorrow! They got me the products the NEXT day!

Replacement for L8148 E1265
Replaced my Honeywell L8148 E1265 with this after the relay in it went bad after 7 years. It's much quieter and has newer style relays. Hopefully this lasts longer than the old one.
