It worked
Replaced an old aquastat sensor that had a plastic housing that had failed to give accurate temp readings. This one has a metal housing and seems more robust than the one being replaced.

Great Little Upgrade Kit for extended Aquastat Pickups
Why replace a dated, overpriced extra-length leaded Honeywell Cold Start or Triple Acting Aquastat with "dumb" logic when you can upgrade with a Hydrolevel 3250-Plus Smart Hydro-Stat for real fuel savings?
We trick out many Dunkirk Ultimates and older Burnhams and they run great!

Add a 48-102 Electro-Well to add the LWCO feature.

1 star for Hydrolevel for not including this or longer sensor with Hydrostat.. comes with 12" sensor, fine for attaching directly to boiler but why would you want to do that when it's almost always easier, and a better option to mount it remotely where it cant get dripped on or be a tight fit with circulators, tridicator, other plumbing connections exiting boiler
