Toto flapper works perfectly
Apparently flappers can get stiff and accumulate mineral deposits over time and then don't seal properly. These flappers are an easy replacement. Removing the original may require using a razor knife or wire snps as the rubber may not longer stretch over the 'axle'. The replacements just snap on.
Of course Supply House found the exact product for my model Toto and they arrived the next day

horrible- original toto new style leaks
typical of toto-nice inexpensive porcelain; nightmare mechanisms. hate the company and their cheap policies of not replacing defectively designed valves and flappers...all nice looking unreliable noisy junk. customer service issues. origanl materials work better but age poorly.

Perfect fit, pay attention to package size!
This flapper fit my customers TOTO toilet perfectly, and worked with zero leakage from day one! However, I was not paying attention to the package size and ended up ordering a case instead of one piece. This was my own fault, and I'm owning up to it, lol!

Well made flapper for most 3" Toto toilets
This flapper is a great universal design for the many different 3" flappers that Toto has made over the years. You may need to go a chain link or two shorter or longer than the chart recommends but the chart is usually correct for most applications. A nice trick if your tank is missing the model info is to look at the underside of the lid where the numerical part of the part # will be similar to that of the tank part #. You can also call Toto and then message them a pic of the toilet to get an answer right away. Their customer service is very good.

what an implrovement.
This flapper is robust and easy to use. However even if you use their chart you will need to make minor adjustments to get it right. Not rocket science though, because after you have done a few you will catch on quickly. We sell a lot of them. With many of the Toto tanks having smudged or missing model numbers especially if they are older you will simply use experience and common sense to set up the adjustments.

My mistake, not for my Toto toilet, but a friend got gifted
My toilet uses atmospheric assistance to dump-flush and does not use this type of flush flapper, but a friends toilet does, so I gifted her with 2 high quality flush flappers.
