T-537LNL 3/4" Forged Brass Ball Valve Hose Bibb w/ Lever Handle (Lead Free)

Product was a perfect replacement part for my application. It was also delievered in a timely manner.

Bought five of these. Good quality valves.

I have bought a half dozen or so of these over the past 5 years. Two of the early ones failed. I'm not sure why, but they would no longer close completely and they consequently leaked. I contacted Supply House to ask if a rebuild kit is available. They said there is not. That said, I like the design of this valve, with the longer handle for the ball valve, and the outlet pointing straight down. The outlet pointing down means my hoses don't kink when attached. These are the two reasons I use this valve. The spray pattern without a hose attached is a wide mess. So I definitely would not buy these if that is how I wanted to use them. Since I always use them with hoses that is not a problem. Another issue I have had with the first ones I bought is the plastic on the handle degraded and became sticky, and the sticky stuff gets on my hands. Basically yucky. I wrapped the handles with plastic tape to cover the original plastic stuff. The bottom line is, if there was another manufacturer which made a ball valve hose bib with the outlet pointing straight down I would try that to see if I have better luck. However at this point this is the only one I have found with these features.

high cost with high shipping. But I could not find any it anywhere else with in my area. But I think the valve was good, what I ordered
