I use it to drain water heaters and it works awesome. I save a lot of time with this pump.

I bought this pump to pump glycol through my radiant floor system in my garage. It worked well to push the bubbles through pex piping in the floor. The circulator on my system doesn't have enough head to push the air through. I hooked this pump up with washing machine hoses to the hose bib connections on the manifolds of the system. Primed the pump with a little glycol and away it went. I pressurized the system and immediately you could see the bubbles head through the pex. The long cord is really nice. I ran some water through the pump afterwards to clean the glycol out and put everything back in the box and stored the pump in my basement. Worked great. There are cheaper "Booster Pumps" out there but this one is built well and we use them at work so I've seen them get used and abused and still work. Would recommend.

I've been eye balling this pump for quite some time, while another brand pump I was using was on it's last legs. After using this pump for a couple of months, there are 2 features that I really enjoy, and that's the on/off switch and the longer cord. I got sick and tired for the last 25 years of always having to bring a cord in with me while draining a water heater or boiler. Liberty is a good company, and hasn't let me down yet.
