Yes it should work fine Sent from my iPhone
Peter, I think these Pex-al-pex fittings are made to common respective standard sizes – if it says it will work with ¾ or 1” pex-al-pex they should. I’ve found the fittings periodically need to be retightened over the years… especially when you let the system go cold in the summer – that’s when they’re prone to leaking. Brian
They will, as long as the tubing meets the specifications of standard PEX-AL-PEX (.490" ID and .636 OD for 1/2").
Parts MP857 and PAP-0750M are interchangeable and can be used in the same applications.
No, FostaPEX tubing is only compatible with Viega PEX Press fittings.
No, it is not.
We would not recommend that you use anything on the compression side, due to the o-rings.
These fittings will not work with that tubing as per the manufacturer.
FYI--(I'm the original poster) I received these fittings (I had already ordered them) and right on the nut is stamped F1281-2005. Hurray for making my life easier!
You will need a chamfering tool to prepare the tubing for the fitting. Most PEX cutters also cut PEX-AL-PEX tubing.
Yes, they will.
