The valve box extension was so great I bought two
I used a valve box to cover my water pressure regulator and shutoff valve. The standard box was too shallow to reach the surface, but this extension helped get it to ground level. In retrospect, I should have bought the second valve box to extend, but I didn't. I bought this second extension to get me just above the ground and the height I needed so it won't get buried by dirt and debris. It was perfect for the job and is very sturdy. The lid is solid and keeps unwanted materials out of the hole.
