The NDS 18 in. x 18 in. Catch Basin 2-Opening Kit features UV-resistant 1-piece injection-molded structural polypropylene construction for strength. Use in areas where water buildup occurs. Use to catch and divert water to water safe areas away from structures, erosion-prone landscapes and poor drainage areas. UV-resistant 1-piece injection-molded structural foam polyolefin for strength. For many residential and commercial applications Collects excess surface water from lawn, landscape, residential driveways and garages. Suitable for light vehicular traffic when properly installed, suitable for both landscape and hardscape applications and able to withstand normal abuse in landscaping applications. 5 psi maximum working pressure, fade resistant, rust resistant, lightweight, sump area collects debris and helps prevent clogged pipes.

I have used this product and may buy a second one.
I use this catch basin along with a 20ft x 6in tube to move water from a low spot in my yard into a river. It works very well without the grate on it. My only problem is that I have a lot of leaves in my yard and when the water is moving fast they stop up the grate.
