Best Part Around
I was told locally (Arkansas) that this part was not available anymore since it was out of a unit that was 10 years old.
The fan motor seized during a 90* week and I was desperate for a replacement. I got on the internet and googled the make and part number. Was I surprised, quite a few motors were available. Even tho Supply House.com was quite distant, they had the best price. Also their shipping was quite faxt. They say a "hot" wife is not always the best thing, and I can vouch for that. The motor went in like it was supposed to and the wiring was a snap.

Good transaction, but the plugs didn't match.
Installed and working properly. The Motor came with an adapter plug, to fit my unit, the adapter was wired backwards, as if the plastic plug was oriented wrong when the pins were installed. Could have burnt my new motor, if I hadn't caught it.

Damaged when shipped
I bought a squirrel cage and fan motor. The box didn't show any signs of damage or impact. The unit was well packed and bent up. Don't expect your part to be in good shape just because the box is. Good luck!

Q: I have one other question outstanding but have another. The manufacturer lists the wires as brown to capacitor, black is high, blue is medium high, yellow is medium low and red is low. That leaves the orange wire in the adapter unaccounted for. What is that wire for?
