Perfect Power Unit Assembly for Nutone Bathroom Fan/Light
My 18-year old guest bathroom fan/light power unit motor (installed by our home builder) started to make a loud noise (even after cleaning the accumulated dust out of the unit) so after inspection, it was time to change out the original Nutone 8664RP power unit assembly. I went to the Supplyhouse.com website and easily found the needed replacement unit (I also purchased some extra spare units since I have similar fan models installed in other bathrooms and the units were very reasonably priced at $58 each & tax). Sales staff over the phone were very pleasant and professional, shipping of the product was very quick, and the products were professionally and carefully packaged to avoid any damage in transit.

I would buy this product again.
I received the motor in a timely manner, however the shipping box was dented in, and when I opened it, the motor bracket was bent. Consequently the fan was on an angle and would not fit into the existing housing. However I was able to remove the new fan motor and blower wheel and attach it to the old bracket, and reinstall it in the housing.
I realize that I could have sent the item back, but I was in a hurry to get a functioning fan in my bathroom.

I also bought two extra spare power units for my bathrooms!
Easy to install to replace defective bathroom ceiling exhaust fan power unit motor assembly. Cost for each unit was very reasonable, so given my house is now 18 years old and I had the original Nutone housing, I decided to buy two more units in case the ones I bought and installed were to fail at some point in the distant future!

Great fit! Too Loud.
The unit fit like a glove. But, it is much louder than the unit I took out. The unit is heavier in weight, I believe due to the larger motor. I think it may be to big. Can now hear it running down the hall with the bath door closed. I'm a contractor and am confident my customer would refuse it.
