metals including copper, brass, zinc, galvanized iron, lead and tin or copper-coated metals. Fluxing is a critical step in the
soldering process. H-2095 Tinning Flux is lead-free and ideal for copper systems including fire sprinkler, hydronic heating,
potable water service and DWV piping. H-2095 Tinning Flux remains active up to 700° F. H-2O95 Flux complies with CA & VT
lead content regulations.

not great
it worked ok for me on pipes 3/4 and under. was working on a hydronic system with 1 1/4 pipes and the solder just did not flow nicely and it seemed to smoke a lot more than the regular stuff. I ended up getting more of the regular paste flux to finish the project.

dont like, going back to original
this is more like soup rather than a paste. Did not bond or tin as easily to fittings trying to pre-tin. Using acetylene it smoked a lot at higher temp and ran off fitting.
Im going back to tinning paste. I'll just flush cold pipes with hot water.

Best tinning flux out there.
By using this product on copper sweat joints the joint will turn silver to let you know when the joint is hot enough to accept solder.

Best flux on market today. Hands down.
You need to wipe up gently and wipe off any excess before it gets to hot and the solder melts or it will mark up your copper. With a little caution this stuff does the best job ever. It solders itself. Just wipe all running flux then solder and it's perfect.
