Oatey Quiet Pipes Hammer Arrestors shall be installed in any diameter
pipe supply application which could experience water hammer due to quick
closing valves or faucets. Arrestor chambers shall be specifically sized to
accommodate and dissipate energy generated by such valves and faucets.
Arrestors shall be effective when installed at any angle. Arrestor shall be
lead-free, made of copper and include a polypropylene piston with two
NBR o-rings. Arrestors shall conform to ANSI/ASSE1010-2004, listed
and approved for installation with no access panel required.

Did not stop the water hammer
Add it on my guest bathroom quick closing faucet nothing changed, still getting the same level of knocking noise

Small Size, Easy to Install and it Works
Used on my dishwasher hot water supply line that was experiencing water knocking when the valve closed. This was an easy solution as its 3/8" compression connection is the same as a typical dishwasher supply line. 1 end is fixed and has a gasket like what you typically see on a compression supply hose and the other end can be used with a compression ring for a solid line connection or it can connect to a flex line that has its own 3/8 gasketed compression connection.
