1/4 Turn Short Brass Ball Valve for Washing Machine Outlet Box, w/ UNS Red Nut (Compression)

I had quarter turn outlets on my washing machine. In Lake Havasu City you must turn cycle them because of the water quality. The off/on 1/4 turn I installed a couple of years ago had a plastic piece that I broke. Broke in off position. Copper only from now on. Reasonable price and prompt delivery.

I thought I could find a valve like this at the box store or my usual online place, but not only does no one else carry this valve, There aren't any like it from other manufacturers that I could find. This valve installed very easily and seems to be great quality. If you are looking for a laundry valve with compression fittings and color coded knobs, I not only recommend this valve, but challenge you to find an alternative, let alone a high quality one.

These quarter turn washer valves are way superior to the stuff that you typically get at big box stores, It's really a crime that these not easier to by, but I'm glad I was able to find it here. These valves are color coded for hot and cold, easy turn on and shut off with one swift motion, and easy to tell when the water is on by just looking at the handle position. Just a much more functional, robust and clean looking product.

The valve was exactly what I needed and at a good price.
