new models have different light bulb mfg
see my previous post for more info. I compared this new units light unit to 3 year old model. Panasonic changed light bulb (unit) suppliers. the new light seems to be about 2,700K and is horrible. no way it could light up a small to medium bath on its own (as they could in past). The Kelvin select model switch seems to be discontinued? If it is available then definately order that one....or skip the light and just get the fan.

Light is horribly dim
I have owned and installed many panasonic fan lights since the early 90's.Always loved them.....till now. I just installed this whisper green in a new home, I also got a fv-0511vfl1k which is not as advanced....but it has color (kelvin) select button and the light works well. This whisper green unit however has no kelvin button and the light is a joke. perhaps I got a lemon? right now I am faced with adding additional lights in the bath to offset this horrible light. No, it is not the night light that I am looking at.
