WLC-R SERIES CARTRIDGES
This cartridge is compatible with the following filter housings:
- Highly effective at reducing unwanted bad taste and odor, and chlorine taste & odor, from potable drinking water
- Ideal choice for a wide range of drinking water applications
- Provide premium filtration reduction for applications with high-capacity requirements
- Enhanced dirt-holding capacity
- Manufactured using a powdered activated carbon (PAC), with a specially designed adsorbent media
- Protected by a uniquely formulated polyolefin prefilter wrap, designed to significantly increase the life of the cartridge by trapping sediment that typically plugs carbon block cartridges
- Compatible with all Pentair housings
- Reduce particles down to 0.5 microns
- For use on chlorinated and non-chlorinated drinking water supplies
WLC-R SERIES CARTRIDGES
- Premium high-capacity chlorine taste and odor reduction exceeding 20,000 gallons
- Include a built-in flow restrictor (0.6 gpm) to allow for maximum contact time
This cartridge is compatible with the following filter housings:
- WVC-34, Valve-In-Head Clear Whole House with Pressure Relief Button
- WC34-PRB, 3/4" Standard Clear Housing with Integral Bracket
- W34-PR, 3/4" Standard Opaque Housing with Pressure Relief Button
- WC34-PR, 3/4" Standard Clear Housing with Pressure Relief Button

Excellent Filter
I use 3 of these filters, one feeds two freezer ice machines, second one for a drinking water faucet at the kitchen sink and a third one for a bar ice machine. The city water here is terrible but these filters do an excellent job of producing clean clear water that tastes like water should.

Misleading product page
It says on the product page on the website that it filters out Lead, but nowhere and I mean nowhere on the product packing itself does it say that it filters out lead. So does this filter lead or doesn't it? Your guess is as good as mine.

Verified Reply- Hello Bruno, Please take a look at this Product Overview: https://s3.amazonaws.com/s3.supplyhouse.com/product_files/American-Plumbing%20--Drinking-Water-Cartridges%20-155268-51-Product-Overview.pdf , specifically the second page, where your housing is the second from left and lists four different filter cartridges by their gpm, so you can select the one that fits your needs.
