The M602W is a versatile line voltage thermostat which can be used with many different electric heating products such as the CBD & HBB baseboard heaters or for remote thermostat control of an MUH unit heater up to 240V.
The M602W has a positive off setting allowing for power disconnect from your electric heating products for when they are not in use.

Baseboard thermostat
I bought the same thermostat over a year ago and it broke! Wouldn't shut off and my room was 98*. Ordered another one and had an electrician install it. So far so good. This is the 3rd one of the same kind installed. The first one just didn't regulate right after about 12 yrs. The second one was the one that just wouldn't shut off and now I am using the one I just purchased. I guess I should have got the warranty but I didn't! Must of had a defective one.

Stuck with these
I have a new house with 8 of these thermostats. 2 have failed in 18 months. I replaced them with identical units from SupplyHouse. Their prices and service was great, one of the thermostats they shipped was defective and they replaced it ASAP no questions asked. I want to keep all my thermostats the same for appearance reasons, so I will replace like for like in the future. If you don't have a good reason to buy these then please don't. But do buy them from SupplyHouse, they're great.

One of the most accurate thermostats.
These line voltage thermostats, in my opinion, are more temperature accurate than some other brands. Especially after they have been in use for several years. They seem to retain their accuracy better than others.

Product worked perfect; we install these all the time on the inside of the walk-in cooler so the customer can override the electric fan that turns off automatically when the door is open. The customer is able to keep the AC fan blowing while they are restocking it with new product.

I have purchased this thermostat numerous times.
I utilize these thermostats in my rental property pump houses to control interior temperatures on cold weather nights. By turning the bulbs on only during extremely cold nights I have no issue with my heat sources being on constantly.
I do a preset of thermostat at first cold snap each winter and have never had an issue.
I have a couple spare backup units on hand as backups but have found these units to be very durable when in service.

Great service
This is the first thermostat that I have had to replace and the process was really easy. Had a hard time finding the product because most big companies only deal with dealers. Most home stores didn't carry the brand that I wanted. Tried Supplyhouse and found the exact same thermostat that I had! Received it really quick and the price was right! I purchased 2 units to be safe against the thermostat going out. The thermostat works, but like most electric heat thermostats, there is a 6 - 10 inch swing for my unit to come back on and shutting off.

Q: what is the difference between double and single pole? Why would I use one or the other with a hydronic baseboard electric heat unit?

Verified Reply- Supplyhouse StaffA single pole thermostat only breaks one side of the circuit, this allows power to be present at all times. a double pole thermostat breaks both sides of the circuit, all and completely shuts power to the valve when off. a double pole thermostat commonly has an OFF position while a single pole doesn't. A double pole is also a safer option since it completely cuts power when there is no call for heat.
