RectorSeal® Tru-Blu™ is a fast drying, adhesive thread sealant. It is especially suited for high vibration environments such as refrigeration or compressor applications. It contains PTFE for better thread sealing and for lubrication to facilitate easy break-out. It is also great for use as a positive lock and seal on threaded fasteners.

Worked great for me
Used this on threaded (PVC) fittings to install whole house A O Smith charcoal filter and descaler units. No leaks so far in our lovely Yuma AZ blast furnace heat. Only time will tell how it holds up over time.

Great stuff
This pipe sealant is great, especially for problematic pipe joints. I use heavy Teflon tape & Try-Blu sealant, and never have an issue. The only drawback is it can stain certain surfaces, so you have to be careful with it.

Less messy than what I was using.
This is the first time I've used this blue dope. It seemed less messy and easier to clean up than the white stuff I had been using. No leaks, either.

Everyday, every thread, TRUBLU.
Tape it, TruBlu it, slam it together....repeat. Daily.
Don't be with out a bunch of this stuff everywhere you go.
Oh yeah, and make sure you don't get any of this on the shower surround!
