This stuff is great for covering a section of your foam rubber insulation that has curves or corners. It prevents UV light from degrading your insulation or animals from clawing at it. You can use zip ties or tape at each end to keep it in place and it will be removable to access an inline filter. I started wrapping from the low spot to the high spot so any condensation that gets inside can find its way out. On the longer straight sections I used a nylon woven sleeve with velcro attachment to cover the insulation.

This is the exact material i was shopping for all over the internet. The mini split kit I purchased didn't include enough to wrap half of the line sets. I shopped around and found SupplyHouse to have the rolls with enough length to complete both the line sets that I needed to finish off. Not sure if the product is UV resistant but I have to take the advertised word as being true as the vinyl tape is a very durable product. Love the 3 inch width which installs easier than expected.

I'm not a pro, just a homeowner replacing the crumbling insulation on my mini-split line set. I bought the proper size of closed-cell pipe insulation locally, but they didn't have anything for UV protection. I eventually came across this tape by searching online. Even with the rigid lines being close together, the tape was fairly easy to apply, much easier than an adhesive wrap would have been. Happy with the result.

I used this non-adhesive tape to protect the exposed line sets on my mini-split exterior unit. The lines were suffering from UV degradation after only 2 1/2 years. I used UV-resistant cable ties to hold the tape in place and hope this protects the line sets from further weathering. The finished product looked pretty sharp too.

This worked perfect for covering my a/c lines. They are now protected from the UV light and I won't have any deterioration as my old line insulation had in past years.

Used this product after I ran out of the vinyl wrap tape supplied with my Heat Pump installation kit. This product was superior because of extra width and strength.
