Magic Trap™ Tubular Polypropylene Fitting
Magic Trap™ fitting is a 1-1/2 inch tubular polypropylene fitting. The Magic Trap fitting replaces any standard 1-1/2 inch tubular trap. The Micro size Magic Vent® AAV screws directly onto the tee connection of the Magic Trap™ fitting. It automatically places the Magic Vent at the required 4 inch height above the drain pipe to which it is connected. The installation time for the vent system is approximately 25 seconds. SAVES TIME AND MONEY.

Great product! Perfect solution for our basement bathroom.
Easy to install. Had to shorten it a bit in a couple of places but that's expected and what you want. Comes with everything you need except, of course, the AAV.

Easy installation
Was very easy to install with included compression fittings. I needed to reduce to the existing 1/4 inch pipes to connect this and that took a trip to Home Depot plus an online order of a trap adapter that would connect this magic trap to the 1/4 inch wall tube, but with the right parts, the whole assembly could be done with compression fittings and no need for glue. This part is not designed to accept Oatey air admittance valves, which are male threaded. I ordered the Rectorseal with 1/2 inch threaded female connection and have high hopes that it will complete the job.
