Honeywell Q340A 1090 thermocouple
These are the same thermocouples that we've been using for years. We like them because they come with all the adapters and even seem to last a little longer than other models. The shipping was quick & easy from supplyhouse.com and a little cheaper than at our supply houses.

Good product fits most applications
Have had a few recently that have crooked threads on the control end , a half dozen so far that have been brought to my attention by our 11 techs feel there are probably more that haven't been reported. Maybe you could follow up with Honeywell.

Great long lasting thermocouple.
These Honeywell Maximum cople thermocouple will usually last 2-3 times longer than the regular Honeywell thermocouple. I use mostly on Crown Aruba boilers. The pilot flame is set on like a blow torch. "Why don't you lower/adjust the pilot flame?" I do, even if I lower it just another 05%-10% lower guess what? I will get a no heat call in one to two weeks later. I have to adjust back to full blast. (This happened on 2 different C.Arubas) I never had a problem lowering the pilot flame "permanently" on any other boiler except the Crown Arubas. The funny part is all the boilers I have worked on even the Crown Aruba all have Honeywell gas valves. Again because I can't adjust pilot flame to a lower setting. It burns through regular thermocouples in 1-2 years. The max I usually get 6-7 average.

The answer is yes and no. Some gas fireplaces have regular 24 Volt gas valves and some come with unusual gas valves that do not use this thermocouple. Standard gas valves use it. Would need more information in order to give a better answer.
