Q4100C Hot Surface Igniters are designed to provide a robust
field service replacement igniter in gas fired appliances with
120 VAC silicon carbide hot surface igniters. The Q4100C
uses a 120 volt silicon carbide igniter design with long life and
high resistance to damage or burn out in the appliance.
Q4100C models include the silicon carbide igniter, bracket,
screw, and wiring accessories to adapt the igniter to the
specific appliance application. Clear instructions and cross
reference tables are provided to simplify selection of the
proper igniter and ease installation of the replacement.

Just a spare for now
it is a perfect match for the one that is in my unit and rt now it is a back up for when my igniter goes in my unit . I always keep a spare because you never know when it will go bad on you . its cheap insurance !

Great Buy!
Haven't actually put this to use yet, bought it as a spare. Was in a bind when the furnace quit at my daughters house, had to buy this product locally to get her heat on. Long story short could have bought four of these at supplyhouse for what I paid for that one locally. It can sit on the shelf until its needed! By the way it is exactly the same part (brand, serial number) as the one I purchased locally.

I would buy again and all other furnace supplies
We needed to replace this part in our furnace and the service man was charging $180 for it. Bought it at a great price and saved myself a ton on parts and labor by doing so. I'm going to order again to have a spare and another part that the service indicated may go next. Also received the product very quickly as expected. With the freezing temps it was greatly appreciated.
