Description
–
Used in gas-fired appliances with capacities up to 150 cu ft/hour at 1 inch wc pressure drop (4.2 cu m/hour at 0.25 kPa) for natural gas. The VR8245M will operate with a direct spark (DSI), hot surface (HSI) or intermittent pilot ignition. The control includes a manual valve, two automatic operators, a pressure regulator, pilot adjustment, pilot plug and ignition adapter.

24 VAC Dual Intermittent Pilot Gas Valve
THE 24 VAC Dual Intermittent Pilot Gas Valve
was used to replace the old possibly malfunctioning one on my RHEEM NG central heat unit. I ordered it from SEARS P.D. first and they got the order wrong, twice!! So use PEX Supply!!!
The gas valve did use the a two prong terminal adaptor (included) if the original wires were 2-wires. Also, the brass plug on mine needed to be in place and tight. The instructions that came with it were very confusing about the adaptor and the plug mentioned above. If you are a DIY-er like me, Good Luck and BE Safe!!!
