It works, but...
It does work, but I would never call it a quality disconnect. The door on mine does not stay in the up position, the bulge in the lid is located so there is no chance it will lock open. It was the cheapest option and it lived up to it's price. Still, it does what I need it to and am keeping it. The fuse holder and disconnect is solid.

Great Fused disconnect, YES YOU NEED FUSES IN ORDER TO WORK
This is a great disconnect box! Just make sure to buy the proper fuses NOT exceeding 30A.

Great disconnect for the price
The disconnect worked as intended. Keep in mind it does not come with fuses.
I would ignore the review saying the disconnect would not work without modifications.
With fuses installed and the disconnect installed in the on position it works great. Have 4 of these installed in different scenarios so far.

Don't buy
This product is not designed to work. As made, there is no way electricity can flow from the input to the output. I made mine work by fabricating some straps and modifying the connections as well as the mounting.

I would recommend not buying this product at all.
This product is not designed to work. the way the contacts are configured, there will never be a connection made between the input and the output. I fabricated a couple of straps to make the one I received work. This design is flawed. I thought it might just be a manufacturing error, but when I requested a replacement, I got exactly the same switch. It would never work without modification.
