  • Clean, Automatic Deburring - The cut produced by this cutter results in only a fine strand of plastic, as opposed to the fuzz created around the cut of a hacksaw. No need for a second tool to deburr, this cutter automatically deburrs in parallel to cutting action.
  • Automatic Beveling: Allows for immediate, easy joining to other sink drain pieces.
  • Open Bore Design: Allows cutting of double-flanged plastic drain pipe.
  • PTEC 3000: Single-flanged 1-1/4" or Double-flanged 1-1/2".

Wouldn't buy again

I bought from HD a few years ago and don't use it much.. I do occasional building maintenance. As another reviewer mentioned, it tends to skate around and requires too much effort to keep it straight.

Works ok, but not as good as the original

I bought this newer cutter to replace my original Ridgid cutter that had to be slid on to both 1 1/2" and 1 1/4" tubular pipe. This newer one snaps on to 1 1/2" tubular pipe; however, the cutter tends to skate or wander off as it's been turned.
