Description
–
Sioux Chief 558-E series tube suspension clamp and insulator shall be
used where necessary to insulate CTS piping in residential or commercial
applications. Clamp shall be UV resistant and 100% corrosion proof. Clamp
shall fit 1-3/8" hole drilled in wood stud or fit a 1-11/32" hole punched in metal
studs. When desired, clamp can be drilled directly to stud or joist or can
be secured to any bracketing system with approved hardware. Clamps are
compatible with CTS copper, PEX or CPVC tube.

- Side fins lock perfectly into I-joist knockout
- Split design allows for use after piping is run
- Durable, UV resistant, high-density polyethylene is 100% corrosion proof and reduces noise due to expansion and contraction in hot water lines
- Compatible with copper, PEX or CPVC

An innovative product.
This is the first time that I have used this style of clamp. I like them and they do have their place. I like that the pipes can slide in the clamp as the pipe grows in length due to expansion.
