Solid Brass, NO Swivel
Female hose connectors on hoses and devices ALWAYS swivel to enable the connection. This piece is solid brass and does NOT SWIVEL which is NOT MENTIONED in the description.

High-quality machining, works great
I bought this to attach to 1/2" MPT stubs in the tub/shower, in order to attach a garden hose to backwash and flush sediment out of the tub/shower mixing valve body.
Worked exactly as planned. Accurately-machined threads made it easy to attach this adapter both to the 1/2" MPT and also to screw the male garden hose into it.
Shipping was also extremely fast, I ordered one day and received it the next day at no extra cost. (Normal / free shipping.)
