Q: I have HAYDON hot water baseboard. Are the size / color compatable with Slant / Fin products? I am interested in splice plates to replace the junk used by my builder. The system is about 7 years old. I can't get the back plates off without bending the fins or re-plumbing, so total replacemengt is out of the question.

Hi, Please compare the dimensions of the two brands / models. They can be found online and measure the existing one. Color varies too, so pay attention when you order. Back plates are hard to get off, but with a magic bar, it should be possible. The nails at usually behind the pipe. I replaced 150'+ of base board by myself.
