Hard to find in stores
3/8 pvc fittings Schedule 40 are very hard to find in retail stores. Trust me, they don't know them! I had a very specific Project to build and install 2 SS small tanks for a higly alkaline liquid and my first option for the plumbing system was PVC. My only problem was to find the 3/8" pvc SCH-40 female adapter. Only store with parts available was Supplyhouse.com Great service and very affordable prices!

I ordered 2 needing only just in case. Good thing because the first one's metal re-enforcing overhung the favoring one side. would not accept male pipe without cross threading. The second made up easily with no issues. I plan to order similar fittings by phone and request that someone at your store proof them before filling my next order. This is the first time I had a problem with a product from supply house

i needed this to fix my pool chlorinator
you guys came through again for me on pool parts when no one else could .Got hand it to you there .so i needed this to aid a crack in the outlet of my pool chlorinator .
it kinda acted like a band aid with some marine sealant . i did mod it to my use but it did the job . true test next summer but i think it well beyond fixed !!!!

Q: I want to thread this union on to the inflow side of a StaRite pool pump. The diam. on the threaded male part of the pump measures 3.25"... The feed pipe is 2" Sch 40 (slip). Will this part work?
