Magnecover Adjustable Magnetic Umbrella Kit

The umbrella is great! Works well, easy to carry and gives me shade on roofs. Just beware, the magnet is nowhere near as strong as advertised. While it does keep the umbrella hanging upside-down in my van, it does not hold my gauges or tool bag. It also blew off the roof with a light breeze and broke two of the arms.

I was very excited when I purchased this item. I am a commercial HVAC technician in Miami and I spend a lot of time on rooftops in the sun. This umbrella seemed like the perfect product and I have been using it for the last few weeks since I purchased it. However, the quality is less than I was expecting. After just a few weeks one of the spokes has already snapped from some very reasonable use and the metal sleeve that goes over where the umbrella goes into the magnet is already falling off, the glue appears to have given out. For the price, I expected something a bit more durable, especially since the product is geared towards technicians working in the field. I will continue to use it for as long as it lasts, since have shade when working on rooftops is invaluable and the product most certainly provides it.
