SureSeal Model SS3009V 3" Inline Floor Drain Trap Seal. Commercial grade UV and Ozone resistant ABS plastic housing
with proprietary EPDM rubber diaphragm and soft rubber sealing gasket. Floor rating ASSE - 1072 AF-GW.
Installed into the outlet of drain bodies, drain strainers, or drain hubs to protect the trap seal from evaporation. Creates a physical barrier that blocks sewer gases and their odors from escaping. Provides waterless trap seal protection equivalent to water based trap primers.
Benefits: Simple to install, eliminates the need for complex, time consuming, and expensive repairs. ECO friendly providing 100% water savings efficiency over traditional methods.

Excellent Product
This is an excellent product. We have been fighting with smells from two new floor drains. From sewer to various other odors. We have tried numerous chemicals/enzymes but nothing would last very long. Installed these and just a few hours later odors were gone. It took longer to get the covers off the drains than to install these.

Q: If we put this in our regular shower would it fit down low enough to put the shower grate back on? And the water would flow down when we shower? Dumb questions , sorry

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffYes, as per the Product Overview it would be inserted low enough into the 3" outlet of your drain to accommodate the shower grate/strainer being installed on top and normal flow of water. Q: is this the same a the sure seal plus? the plus is able to hold back 5 column feet of water.

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffThe 97042 standard Sure Seal is different than the Sure Seal Plus. The major difference is that the plus has a backwater valve included as well, where as the standard does not. Please review the specifications sheet for further information.
