Product caused leak, but fixable
Installed this replacement cartridge, and as soon as I filled the system water level up to the pump, it started spitting water out of the weep hole. Figured I must have it installed wrong. Drained it down, tried again, being especially careful to make sure the gasket was in place. Same thing. Leaks. Tried this 2 more times until I finally cried uncle. Then I decided to use the OLD gasket (not the one that came with this unit). I worked fine first try. The gasket that this item came with was not stiff enough, and I believe it was being squished out of place when tightening down the bolts.
Once it was installed leak free, it worked fine. However it took a lot longer than it should have due to bad quality gasket.

Great Pump but!
I would have rated it higher but I had to rework the seal flange on the new cartridge to get it to seal properly. The original had a flat seal flange but the new cartridge had a upturned lip on the outer edge, so the O ring seal did not compress enough to properly seal. I had to flatten the lip and trim off the excess to get the O ring to compress properly. Works great after that was done.

I would purchase from Supply House again!
They were very easy to work with and very responsive when I needed assistance. The part I received was the wrong part, it was not Supply Houses issue it was Taco. There return process was very easy and the refunded my money the day after the part was received back to them.

This is the 2nd Taco cartridge I have purchased from Supply House -fast shipping -good company. Taco cartridges are a plug and play replacement -as long as you order the right one.
This time, however, the new seal which came with the cartridge was somehow out of spec and it leaked. I swapped out the new seal with the old one (which looked identical) and now the pump is fine. My advice is have someone right at the pump when you turn on the water to make sure all is well.

Good replacement cartridge.
I ordered a replacement cartridge for may TACO pump. I arrived in an envelope and the contents appeared damaged in shipping (case dented and shaft broken). Called Supply House and they sent out replacement immediately no questions asked and properly packaged this time. I gave this four stars since I had to order twice but they made it good in the end.
