Description

Taco may be renowned for their circulators, but those are not the only pieces of efficient, reliable hydronic mixing equipment that they make. The 5002-T3 is a low head loss brass mixing valve, ideal for a wide range of hydronic heating and domestic hot water applications. An integral thermostatic element monitors and regulates water temperature. The 5002-T3 is capable of handling temperatures up to 176 degrees Fahrenheit to ensure potability, and ASSE 1017 certification guarantees that the water will be mixed down to a usable temperature before flowing through your system. The valve features a tamper resistant cap to prevent alterations to the mixing temperature. Dependable temperature mixing for your hydronic system is as easy as adding a 5002-T3.

Q: I have a low end 1/2 " Taco mixing valve, looks like this one but the control is just a lever. I'd like to know if turning it clockwise increases or decreases the mixed temperature. If it's turned all the way in (clockwise), is the mixed output straight cold?
