Great Unit, some adjustments required

Installation was straight forward, although it pays to study the entire booklet to make sure you are up to code. (Consult locality also, just to be safe.) Once installed an adjusted the unit works great, no problems, with little needed maintenance. My only issue was when I first installed the unit it would not light. I searched high and low for the problem. Turns out one of the motherboard connectors was not plugged in. My advice, double check all wires and plugs when your setting the DIPS for temperature and you'll be alright.

I bought 2 work great

I bought 2 I put one in my place for hot water it worked good for 6 months. The only problem is we are on a well and when the pump kicks in it thinks we are demanding water, so it would kick the fan in all the time. After 6 months it wouldn't heat water and I sent it back and they exchanged it free of charge. The other one was put into my sons granny suite and it heats the water and does the in floor. It still is working great. ou can't go wrong with these little guys and the company backs the warrenty.

One way you can consider to fix the problem is using a buffer/storage tank installed between the pump and the water heater, or to make sure your tank is sized properly.

Excellent and reliable.

I have installed more than 30 units, the first one more than 10 years ago. None has given any trouble. They are very reliable. I´ll keep using the for as long as I work.

It sounds to us as if it there may be an issue with the flow sensor. We would recommend calling your installer and/or the manufacturer for a more detailed assessment.

Q: I'm considering using one of these for a back-up heater to my solar thermal system. Does this require the optional remote to adjust the heat output to say 110 degrees? Also, will this work at an elevation of 7000 feet?
