Weirsbo Pex is great

I was introduced to Weirsbo PEX products about one year ago, and wish I'd known of them earlier. So easy to use, and zero leaks after replumbing all water piping in my crawlspace. I'm revising one leg of piping, and wanted to run 1/2" from a 3/4" tee, thus the coupling.

Q: I have a manabloc system with 1/2" pex tubing. I accidently drilled a hole in the tube. Can I use this Propex LF brass coupling 1/2" pex x 1/2" pex to splice in another tube? Should I call a plumber or can I do this myself? Will I need any special tools to cut the tube, and install the coupling and propex ring?

You will need an expander tool. We recommend using a SharkBite coupling U008. There are no special tools required for installation. We also recommend using a PEX cutter to cut your PEX, such as SKU: HCUTTER

Q: I have some kitec product buried in the ground that we sheared off in the process of drill post holes for a garage, I now would like to splice a piece into it. Will this ProPex LF brass coupling work for this?

No, the ProPEX LF Brass fittings have to be used with the expander tool which is not applicable on this Kitec tubing. You would be looking for the MultiCor fittings by Wirsbo to make those connections.
