no it will not, it will only work with grade "A" pex.
According to Uponor, "The 3⁄8" ProPEX Ring must be expanded once on each side to properly fit over the piping."
Yes, but only with the tool too. Sku number Q6272000 The tool is corded, since I doubt any of the cordless tools would be able to expand the 2" pex.
The stop makes it easier to complete a ProPEX fitting. It forces the ring to go on the PEX-A tubing at the proper spot to make the fitting connection. Uponor is phasing out the rings without stops.
The rings are slightly larger than the tubing. This is not recommended by the manufacturer.
The rings themselves are exactly the same. The different colors are intended to make identification easier (hot vs. cold lines, etc.).
