This is the only company I buy solder and copper from online

I have purchased lead free solder and copper parts three times now.. The order is always shipped immediately and packaged to arrive damage free.. The pricing is very much in line with today's industry. I 100 % recommend buying from supply house and I will continue to use them as my go to source... Thank You.

Not my favorite

Silver Lead Free makes the most beautiful beads--better than anything else I've used. HOWEVER, I have to worry about joint penetration when I use it, which is ultimately the most important part of making a joint. I've done test joints, and if you don't watch for penetration, you can form one of those beautiful beads without actually filling the joint. I personally prefer Sterling or Silvabrite 100, where it's almost impossible to form a bead without filling up the joint first. I think these are two sides of the same coin--it's more viscous than the others. For a regular copper fitting (not a tight one, like a valve) at 1 1/4" or greater, I think I prefer Silver Lead Free, but in most cases I'd like to be guaranteed that I've filled the joint.

I would not buy this again

I had the worst luck with this product. Could not get it to flow consistently. Seems to have a lot of impurities in it also.Going back to Sterling,

best solder

I have been using this solder for last 5 years, I had used numerous different solder in the past, and this one performs the best. I am very sure I will continue to use this solder in the future.

Great Solder

I use this product to sweat solder copper tubing fittings on to ridged copper tubing. With the proper flux and pre-cleaning the joint it works great.

Good Stuff

Flows smoothly and predictably. Preferred over common 95/5 Tin/Antimony. Used for bronze fittings to copper.

Q: Using on HVAC refrigeration lines. What flux should I use? Do you need to charge the inside of the line with nitrogen when using this Silver Lead Free Pluss.

HVAC lines should be brazed not soldered. & you should be bleeding nitrogen thru the lines when brazing.

It has to be rated for the pressure of the system. This is most likely not rated for the pressure of HVAC system. From my Android phone on T-Mobile. The first nationwide 4G network.

Hi Pex Supply Customer. Yes that solder can be used in HVAC applications. Usually a 90%tin - 10% silver will work. John RKDS Inc. Sent from my iPhone
