Works as described and without issue
The website description of this product was spot on and I got exactly what I needed for a successful repair to my camper. I needed to bridge a small leak in my polybutylene line and I used some PEX where I removed the bad PB line. This adapter fit perfectly.

Perfect fit for RV butyl repairs
Have a 30 year old RV with butyl piping that is starting to leak at faucets, etc. This is the perfect no- leak answer. I tried other approaches, but this has proven longevity. 3/8 Gray butyl to 3/8 pex. Thank you Supply house for providing this hard to find fix

Q: The description says PEX x PB PEX crimps have three ribs PB crimps have 5 ribs and the OD is slightly larger. Is that the appearance? Does the fitting come with a copper ring and a black ring?

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffYes, one end is a pex crimp and the other for polybutylene. Rings are not included. Both sides would use the same type of ring, regardless of color.

Q: Hi Will this work to adapt an existing Quest 3/8" ID water line to Pex? I'm doing some remodeling in my motorhome and ran into a snag finding any parts for rerouting part of the Quest piping. Does it use standard 3/8" crimp rings on both sides? Would like to order all the fittings I need ASAP. Thanks! Jeff

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffNo, unfortunately this connection is only from pex to pex. It will not adapt to Quest polybutelene tubing. You would need to use a pex to polybutelene adapter.
