Great System
After 13 years, we finally had to change a seal. It took about five minutes to make the change. If fact, it took longer to shut off the water than to make the change.
We love the ability to isolate each water line without having to shut the whole house down.

Caution if you have an old manablock
I used these to replace the entire hot side of the manablock in my home. They they sprayed the Sheetrock behind them when the water water was turned back on. For old manablocks replace them with Pex fittings and save the headache.

Caution if you have an old manablock
I used these to replace the entire hot side of the manablock in my home. They they sprayed the Sheetrock behind them when the water water was turned back on. For old manablocks replace them with Pex fittings and save the headache.

Switching out the old ManaBloc valves that had small diamond heads that broke or leaked to the Viega valve stems was the best thing I ever did. I purchased 32 Viega valves stems and replaced them all. Now I have confidence in turning on and off valves from the main ManaBloc manifold. Due to the prior cheap PEX Line install of track homes that didn't come with shutoff valves at the end of every PEX run, I also purchased the Sharkbite Push-On adapters and added valves to every bathroom sink and toilets, kitchen sink and dishwasher. Sure it's a bit pricer but makes the job much easier.

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffIt is possible that the washers in the stems may fail eventually, however if you do not notice any water indicating a leak, it is unnecessary to replace them.
