Yes, the plastic escutcheon will fit snugly over both the PEX tubing or the copper ell. Ed

Yes, they will fit both. You just have to pess pretty hard to get it started on the copper, but once it's on, it's good.
These plastic escutcheons will fit nicely over anything that is manufactured to 1/2" CTS (copper tube size) - 1/2" Pex, copper, CPVC, and even 5/8" wooden dowels....
I am only certain that the escutheons will fit tightly over 1/2" pex pipe. They will not fit over a crimp style connection. Please consider the environment before printing this email
Well I am not sure if they will be an exact fit, but the escutcheons are easy to trim with a box cutter type blade and a little white caulk will make the finished product look professional.
Q: What is the outside diameter?
